In late June Reinhardt's Corps defeated the Soviet 3rd Mechanised & 12th Mechanised Corps in the Battle of Raseiniai and destroyed over 700 Soviet tanks. In 1941, Reinhardt and XLI Panzer Corps were deployed on the Eastern Front for Operation Barbarossa, the invasion of the Soviet Union in June. It's a tough map, but just wait until you get to Stalingrad :P.Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords And use your prestige for constant reinforcements :). Use pioneers against fortifications & entrenched infantry. Use the Karl to smash through the middle. The general tactic is: advance slowly protecting your units with Artillery and/or AT. In terms of deployment, I used something similar to Green Knight's video above. 2x fighters, 1xBf100, 1xStuka and 1xRecon. 88s in the center, Flakverlings in the south (Tula) and far northwest (there's an airport there and the AI loves to go after units you put there since they're out of reach of the 88s). Remember to use the recon cars to get the 10% bonus. The 15cm supports (also has AT fire), 17cm helps with counter-battery and the Karl just pummels things to dust. Stugs go to help pioneers & attack fortifications. 3x 15cm, 1x 17cm, 1x Karl and 2x Stug3b artillery. Again very useful for setting traps & blunting counterattacks. I had the 3-slot ones (all-wheel movement is important). They absorb enemy attacks, help with clearing infantry and are cheap to reinforce (no trucks also helps with this). Those are the meatshields, put them in the front backed by artillery/AT. Protect them in the open where they're at their worst. The pioneers are what will clear infantry from the city AND defend against the tank counterattack from the east. Halftracks are very important for mobility and give an extra point of close defense. 4 pioneers (3 in halftracks, one in regular trucks). Also, Barbarossa Center is recommended, both for the Karl Geralt AND the Kiev North mission, which gives you an opportunity of a grand encirclement resulting in at least 5k prestige and potentially KV2s & T34s to use. Once you master encirclement you can achieve this goal easily (even in Generalissimus, definitely in FM and below), even without Trophies of War.

Panzer corps 2 moscow crack#
You won't be bombing every turn, sure, but when it clears up, if based forward (there is an airfield to the lower right of Moscow that's nice) you can crack open some of the good armor. And in snowy weather has a tendency to run into ambush after ambush.Ī couple of stukas ain't wrong either. Might even drop heroes altogether.įind some good spots around the city where you can make a little hedgehog of your tanks backed by 88s AT or another good AT unit. I'm at the point now when I don't use more than 1 hero per unit bc it gets so easy. Doesn't help me much with the surrounding areas. Luring enemy tanks into moscow and kill them works as well. That isn't going to help me much: I got one useful hero, +5 attack against infantry which is nice, I can chew right through moscow. Hmm, his game seems to heavily rely on a few key heroes and a prototype arty. Trying to fight T-34 and KV-1 in the open will not go well for you. I think you revealed the cruisal flaw in your plan: you just either use AT guns (the 88 flak is great for this, but you also have StuG) or you must lure enemy tanks into city hexes. I really want to get the bonus objectives, but I am going to need some tips and tricks here - if anybody has got them and is so kind to share them. Between the weather (stukas are grounded or ineffective) and AT guns I find it hard to fight them, let alone take them out as quickly as needed. The Russian tanks are insanely good and require a lot of firepower to take out. Originally posted by w.f.schepel:Been trying and experimenting, but I just can't seem to do it.
