As a chapter, we want to embrace diversity within our sisters and develop each other as we embark on our different careers. We want to dedicate ourselves to form an environment where women from all cultural backgrounds feel welcomed and comfortable. Why join?Īs a chapter, we want to focus on our cultural awareness principle to start the new academic year. The SLG sisters are a real family, and being a part of this family is a blessing. Our confidence level has grown and continues to grow with the SLG sisters’ help as we continue to uplift one another. This membership has enabled gaining fantastic leadership skills and the ability to socialize with many different people. We built a support system that genuinely fulfills our souls through this membership and gains a lifetime relationship with amazing women. What are the benefits of joining SLG?īeing part of Sigma Lambda Gamma brings a sense of having sisters and a family. After attending several events, the realization was that the organization was the perfect fit.
Although being a little scared to reach out and get connected with the organization, was worth it. Lacking social and communication skills and developing these skills is the reason for joining the organization. As a person with two brothers and no sisters, there is a profound need to experience sisterhood.
